The Italian Job

"The Italian Job" (1969) directed by Peter Collinson, starring Michael Caine, Noel Coward & Benny Hill is a film in the genre of comic caper action. It is set in Italy and follows a group of ex cons as they try to steal a shipment of gold by creating a traffic jam. Great car chase scenes and atmosphere. Michael Caine fits the role perfectly and even is one of the singers in a song in the film's soundtrack called "Getta Bloomin' Move On" which is also sometimes referred to as "The Self Preservation Society."
