Buffalo Soldiers

"Buffalo Soldiers" (2001) an American film, is directed by the Australian Gregor Jordan; stars Joaquin Phoenix, Anna Paquin and Ed Harris. The film is set in Germany in 1989, just before the fall of the Berlin Wall. The story focuses on a criminal subculture amongst the US soldiers living on the military base, who spend their time organising black market operations.
It is a black comedy.
