"Bonnie & Clyde" (1967) directed by Arthur Penn, starring Warren Beatty & Faye Dunaway is a great crime gangster thriller set in Depression-era America. It is based on the real life notorious bank robbing partners-in-crime Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker. Warren Beatty also produced the film. The film is quite violent in some scenes-breaking many taboos at the time, and is considered a groundbreaking film. The film won two Oscars: Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Estelle Parsons, and Best Cinematography: Burnett Guffey.
